Put those riding boots on and come ride with us through the Misty Mountains!
The Misty Mountains is just one of ten sims in the Calas Galadhon Park sims. All are connected by paths and trails. The Misty Mountains sim takes you up through rocky crevasses and along a meandering brook.
There are places to stop, climb, relax. Listen to the birds and crickets, the wash of the waves upon the shores.
Starting Point
We will start in Mirromere at a horse rezzer (for those that don't have a horse) and follow the Coast Trail through the Misty Mountains. You can ride farther if you wish into the other sims.
How Do I Get a Horse?
If you have a horse you can ride that is wearable (no rez rights in the park) or have a horse avatar, bring it along! If you don't, our landing spot will start in Mirromere, a neighboring sim, at a horse rezzer. You simply click it the sign and wear the attachment.
Listen!
What really makes this place special in addition to the amazing scenery is how they've added sound to make it so realistic. It's best if you have a headset, but if not, at least make sure your speakers are on. For you birders, you might recognize some of the different types of birds.
Meeting Spot:
We will meet at the ISTE VEN headquarters and pick up a folder with landmarks and info. Everyone is invited whether you write or not. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/EduIsland%209/24/105/22.
Writing Format:
Poem, short story, essay, music, photography, machinima.

The main purpose of these explorations is to cultivate our creativity by becoming immersed in an environment. Anyone is welcome to participate. We meet at the ISTE VEN Headquarters, teleport together to an environment, and spend an hour there. You can also stop by the headquarters and click the scrolls to get the information on the current exploration if you wish to go on your own.
We meet the following month to share our work, which is optional. We do not critique each others' work as we wish to encourage everyone to participate if they wish, and to inspire their creativity.
